HISTORY OF GURDWARA KARHALI SAHIB

Karhali village is particularly unique in Sikh history because this place has been touched by the feet of Sikhs, the sixth Guru Sri Guru Hargobind Sahab and the ninth Patshah, Guru Teg Bahadur Ji. Sixth, Guru Sri Guru Hargobind Sahab arrived in this village with his 100 horse riders, where there was a small shed outside the village (now Gurdwara Sahib is beautiful). There was a patient of leprosy lying there. The Guru called out to the patient, “O Bhai Gurmukha, your request has been accepted in the Guru’s house. The water of eighty-six shrines is entering this pond from Patalpuri. Take a dive in it.” Hearing the words, the leper fell into the pond. He felt fine. When he came out of the pond, he was fine. After that, Guru Ji expressed his desire to sprinkle Prasad. The patient ran to the village, shouted in joy, and told this miracle. Many people came back with him, and all the villagers started saluting at the feet of Satguru Ji. From that time, one who takes a bath here on five Sundays or five Panchamis with devotion gets rid of skin diseases.
